Tomorrow won’t be that way

Things will get better. I am sorry that things are falling apart. God is sovereign and in control. He promises so much for the Christian. You won’t feel this way forever. This will pass.

MAKE A LIST

Make a list of all your blessings. Name them one by one. Do it. Then hang it where you can see it everyday. There is always, always something to be thankful for.

COUNT ON HOPE

Take comfort in that God really does care for you. Read these promises out loud.

Psalms 31:24 Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all you that hope in the LORD.

Psalms 33:20 Our soul waits for the LORD: he is our help and our shield.

Psalms 39:7 And now, Lord, what wait I for? my hope is in you.

Psalms 62:5 My soul, wait you only on God; for my expectation is from him.

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, said the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Romans 12:12 Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;

KEEP IT ALL IN PERSPECTIVE

It will pass. It will make you stronger. Right now just get through one more day.

You’ll learn incredible truths from your struggle. You might not see it now, but rarely does one grow without being in the valley. Pain is part of your life. I get your pain, but it spurs on growth. Life is never wonderful all the time. Your biggest fears don’t really exist.

True freedom comes from responsibility. Own what you are going through, then the healing will start. Results are not instant. Please don’t try to have other people validate you. Never believe the lie that you are alone. Life is not easy for anyone. Pray not for ease, but pray that you’ll have strength to continue.

One day, you’ll begin up the arch of grief and begin to help others.
